Position/Title: Sports Director
Details: KLKN-TV is looking for a Sports Director to lead our sports department. Lincoln is home to the Huskers and is one of the best sports markets in the country! This position requires a great on-air personality with strong reporting, editorial and social media skills. A drive and passion for sports is essential along with the ability to generate strong local sports stories without relying on national feeds.

You will…
• Shoot, write and edit sports stories for broadcast and web
• Produce sports block for 6 & 10 PM shows
• Coordinate coverage for sports reporter, photographers
• Update social media/web platforms throughout the day
• Develop relationships with sources to help break us sports stories
You have…
• Two-years on-air experience
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere
• Knowledge of JVC cameras
• Thrive under pressure and deadlines
• Willing to work various shifts
