We are looking for a part-time highly confident, energetic, and dynamic candidate to join 93.7 The Ticket FM as Producer. Your role will be integral to enhancing the quality of our program and continued growth
As producer you will develop content and manage radio productions for both live and pre-recorded radio shows and their associated digital re-broadcasts and clips. You will work in tandem with on-air talk show host(s) and the creative and event team to edit and delivery daily compelling content that grows social media followers and generates views. You must have the ability to run the board and screen calls during the program.
Key responsibilities
- Assists with show time-keeping, saving show recordings, archiving show files and post-production editing as directed.
- Flawless technical execution in running the board for live or pre-recorded shows
- Schedules and monitors the radio audio and video stream during live recordings.
- Maintaining the station brand image within the show.
- Assist on-air host(s) in producing daily promotional spots. Write live endorsement scripts for talent. Be the eyes and ears of the show.
- Work closely with the marketing department to help create unique online content
- Generates original ideas, identifies suitable ideas from others, and carries out thorough research.
- Monitors listener texts,emails, inquiries and responses related to shows.
- Uses various media editing tools and technology including select audio and video clips to complement shows or finding requested content by hosts such as soundboards and editing/production software.
Key Qualifications.
- 4-year college degree preferred in Journalism or Radio/Broadcast production
- Prefer 1-2 years of on-air and production experience
- Should be proficient in Adobe Audition or similar audio editing software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to work within a team environment
- Must be willing to learn additional skills related to producing live shows
- Must be flexible with work hours including weekends, overnights, and holidays
- Must have experience generating and distributing content on websites/social media platforms
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivator, troubleshooter
- Must be able to handle pressure situations, various personalities, and a very quick pace
