Creative Services Director – KLKN TV, Lincoln

About KLKN-TV: KLKN-TV is looking for a Creative Services Producer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and driven individual who excels at producing engaging, high-quality content to support our station’s sales and marketing efforts.

Job Overview: The Creative Services Producer will work under the direction of the Marketing Director to create station promos, image campaigns, and branding materials. This role will also collaborate with the Sales Department to develop compelling commercial content for clients. From concept to completion, you’ll craft visually striking and persuasive messaging that helps clients achieve their marketing goals while reinforcing KLKN’s brand identity.

Responsibilities:

•             Develop station promos, image campaigns, and branding materials.

•             Edit daily topicals that effectively tease upcoming newscasts and drive viewership.

•             Produce effective commercial content for clients.

•             Write, shoot, and edit engaging video content for broadcast.

•             Develop creative strategies that align with client objectives and station branding.

•             Ensure all projects meet brand guidelines and maintain a high production quality.

•             Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•             Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate fresh, innovative ideas into content.

Experience:

•             High-level photographer/videographer/editor providing samples of work demonstrating a thorough understanding of DSLR photography, Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, and video compression codecs. 

•             Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

•             Experience in video production, scriptwriting, and editing.

•             Ability to generate fresh, engaging ideas that stand out.

•             Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).

•             Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of marketing and brand messaging.

•             Ability to collaborate with sales clients and translate their needs into effective commercials.

•             Experience operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.

•             Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Requirements:

•             Must provide a reel demonstrating a high level of understanding in DSLR photography, creative lighting techniques and non-linear editing philosophy including motion graphics

•             A solid knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premier, After Effects) is essential to the job

•             Experience crafting both long and short form programs is helpful

•             Must demonstrate a proven ability to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit dynamic videos

•             Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record

•             Ability to routinely lift, carry and move equipment in excess of 50 lbs.

•             Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications/Film or related field
