This award has been created to recognize NBA member station personnel from any station department who have demonstrated a significant, long-term commitment to their career in Nebraska radio and/or television broadcasting.

Nominee criteria:

• Nominee must have worked for at least 25 years in Nebraska radio and/or television
• Nominee may receive this award once
• Current NBA Hall of Fame inductees are not eligible for this award

Nomination process:

• Senior manager at nominee’s Station Employment Unit (SEU) must complete all fields below, including: 
  • nominee’s employment history in Nebraska Broadcasting (stations, years worked and job title at each)
  • date of nominee’s pending retirement, or,
  • date on which nominee recently retired
• NBA will consider awarding up to two nominees per SEU per calendar year 

Award presentation:

• SEU determines when and where award will be presented
• NBA ships award to the SEU in advance, with a congratulatory letter
• When available, a NBA board member or the president/executive director may attend to make the presentation if requested
• Award recipients will be recognized in the next issue of The Modulator
