On the heels of purchasing silent KXSP (AM 590) AM from SummitMedia, Omaha-based Walnut Media has succeeded in getting FCC approval to restore the historic WOW call letters which were first assigned to the signal in 1926.
The station will debut on July 6 with an all-sports format of local and network sports talk, including a full compliment of Huskers Athletics play by play and shoulder programming.
