NewsRadio 1110 KFAB in Omaha is seeking a Radio News Reporter and Anchor. Must have a Journalism degree or news writing experience to be considered.

Variable hours based on need. Usually Monday-Friday but may flex to cover major weekend news or events. Assignments will include on-the-scene reporting, Nebraska State Capitol coverage when in session, in-person City Council and various press conferences.
Create stories with audio for radio air, website, and Instagram video reports for KFAB.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Recording and editing audio, cell-based Instagram video/reporting/editing, understanding of political and governmental processes and ability to turn parliamentary processes into compelling stories. Must be politically unbiased, able to understand and report on both (all?) sides of issues without spin or propaganda.
Must have excellent comprehension and writing skills, conversational style, skilled with social media and various software. Must have clear, pleasant voice and clear enunciation. Compelling delivery using natural inflection to tell an engaging story.
