Transactional Sales Manager – KLKN TV, Lincoln

Details: Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transactional Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. As a Transactional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for handling national and regional advertising dollars and implementing strategies to grow market share through effective buys. You will play a critical role in driving revenue and building strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

1.            Manage national and regional advertising budgets and develop sales strategies to maximize revenue.

2.            Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients to expand market share.

3.            Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, advertising, and operations, to develop customized advertising solutions that meet client objectives.

4.            Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at client organizations.

5.            Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth and develop innovative sales approaches.

6.            Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.

7.            Monitor and track sales performance, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.

8.            Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in the advertising landscape to remain competitive in the market.

9.            Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company’s values and brand in all interactions.

Qualifications:

1.            Proven track record of success in transactional sales, preferably in the advertising or media industry.

2.            Strong understanding of national and regional advertising markets and trends.

3.            Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

4.            Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.

5.            Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

6.            Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a results-driven mindset.

7.            Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

8.            Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
