WOWT is accepting applications for a full-time Sales and Administrative Associate
WOWT is looking for our next Director of First Impressions. Have you ever wondered how commercials got on air? In this role you will be working with all of our advertisers to get their commercials on air and to organize, vet and manage all campaign assets across platforms campaigns. Join us at our beautiful brand new, state of the art news facility. We are looking for someone that loves to interact with our viewers on the phone and in person. You will be working part of the time at the front desk off the news room and will be at the hub of all the news excitement. You will also be in the sales department working with clients and Account Managers on various campaigns.
Sales and Administrative Assistant provides administrative and project support to the station. The position also has responsibilities for front desk operations/functions; providing excellent customer service is one of the most important job duties. The ideal candidate will be greeting customers and answering their questions in a friendly, conversational manner. This position will also help schedule the correct commercials with the appropriate order and for maintaining the inventory of all commercial material. As our digital department grows and evolves, so does our need to add sharp, ambitious, and talented people to our team. We’re approachable, inclusive and encourage open dialogue within our community. This is a place where your voice matters. You represent a critical function in managing and servicing fast-paced, consumer facing ad campaigns. You serve as the backbone to our sales team as you help orchestrate all things media.
The successful applicant’s background must include, at minimum, a High School diploma. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required – Access, Publisher and Power Point desired. This position requires strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Three-years’ experience in professional administrative role, Administrative level preferred. Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
