In an effort to develop future engineering & technical talent, the NBA has joined the state broadcast associations of Iowa, Kansas and Missouri to host our second Engineering Training Conference in Overland Park, Kansas, on Wednesday, November 15.
Based on attendee feedback from last year and recent NBA member input, we have added afternoon breakout sessions for Radio and Television, following a combined session in the morning. Content will be presented by veteran broadcast engineers Larry Wilkins and Wayne Kube.
This event is targeted to station personnel currently working in a non-engineering role who have some amount of technical aptitude with interest in learning more. It can also serve as a “refresher” course for seasoned engineers and technical support people.
Thanks to the NBA board of directors, there is no registration fee for state association members of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. This limits attendee expenses to transportation, lodging and a couple of meals.
Complete details and registration link are found here. Registration deadline is November 1.
