MOBILE ME & YOU RETURNS TO UNL IN OCTOBER

MobileMe&You, a conference that teaches best practices in mobile media, will be Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23 and 24, on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. Experts from The Washington Post, CNN, USA TODAY and Univision are among the speakers who will discuss artificial intelligence and voice control, augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, sensors, drones, mobile news gathering and editing tools, social media platforms and reaching the Hispanic audience.

A pre-conference day of Google Tools training will be Thursday, Oct. 22, supported by the Society of Professional Journalists and the Google News Initiative.

The conference is designed for students and media professionals wanting to learn from national experts how to use the newest tools to reach the audience of the future. We’re confident that you can’t get training of this caliber for this price anywhere in the country. Nebraska Broadcasters Association members are encouraged to attend.

Early-bird student registration is $10. For college and high school faculty it’s $60. Early bird registration for media professionals is $95.
