The Role: Full Time Morning Show Radio Talent- Programming-Operations

Salary: Starting at $45k+ per year

Location: Nebraska City, NE

Description:
Are you ready to be involved in the community and assist with appearances, promotions, and general station events on multiple platforms?
Nebraska City, Just 35 min from Omaha NE, the largest city in Nebraska. Direct access to airport, entertainment, restaurants, and sporting events!

Responsibilities
• Host morning drive on-air Monday-Friday; news, talk, music, comedic or other formats for broadcast entertainment.
• Prepares for an air shift using creativity, imagination, and exercise of independent professional judgment in writing, producing, interviewing, taping, or broadcasting on-air material.
• Write assigned Facebook posts along with other social media platforms.
• Daily commercial production.
• Conduct live remotes and appearances and assist in special promotions and programming activities when needed.
• Serves as primary creative voice and directs support staff of show.

Requirements:
• An upbeat and engaging personality skilled at finding the most relatable angle to present very specific and/or totally random topics to the station’s audience.
• Charismatic with good pronunciation; mostly pleasant.
• Work well in a team environment, collaborative.
• Strong production skills.
• Proficient with radio systems and audio editing software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with social media platforms and have a strategy for making them effective.
• Demo/aircheck of on-air work, social media handles and commercial samples must be included with your resume.
