NRG Media in Kearney (the home of Hits 106, Y102 and KGFW) is looking for a Local Business Administrator / Receptionist. This person will assist station management in the business, personnel and financial administration activities of the stations, expedite the steady and courteous flow of internal/external communications, and assist with clerical and frontline customer relations work.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
-Bookkeeping tasks as directed by the Business Manager.
-Acting as the station’s “Director of First Impressions”, welcoming on-site visitors, and announcing them to appropriate station personnel. This will also include courteously and promptly answering incoming telephone calls and routing them appropriately.
-HR functions including administrative tasks for payroll and personnel.
-Serve as a back-up to the Traffic Director and perform some Traffic Department functions…The Traffic Department schedules the commercials each day.
-Occasionally you will assist our Sales staff with some advertising packages and presentations.
Prior experience and/or education in accounting with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word is preferred. The ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, effective, and efficient manner is needed.
We are looking to fill this position quickly…The hours are GREAT! 8:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday most of the time.
