Flood Communications is an INC 5000 fast-growing business in the United States. Over the last 7 years, we’ve built Nebraska’s largest, local, news and media group. Ol’ Red and KWBE have been delivering local news, weather, and sports for 38 and 73 years respectively. Our goal is to serve the underserved audiences in Nebraska. This means small Nebraska vs. the metro. Our local content gives businesses a great opportunity to find customers.
The Ol’ Red and KWBE Marketing/Sales Team is a highly driven and self-sufficient group that works in and out of the office daily to deliver marketing results for their customers. We are seeking an account executive to cover Beatrice but also the north and east. This is the general area; however, it is not limited to only this area. We have regional and nationwide customers.
To grow our service to our communities, we are looking for a Marketing/Sales representative who is eager to learn small-market media sales and start or relaunch their career. We want the best of people, and we make sure that it’s rewarded.
About the Job:
First 30 Days:
- Get trained on our sales process.
- Learn the benefits of our different media channels.
- Learn how to create advertising campaigns.
- Learn how to create a proposal.
- Learn how to interview a client.
- Start meeting current customers and prospecting new.
- Read/work through training materials.
- Learn our software.
60 Days:
- Learn how to create long-term marketing programs
- Establish your habits
- Understand how to uncover large opportunities
- Learn how to record clients
90 Days:
- Start seeing the benefits of your hard work
- Be able to create large-scale media plans on your own
- Find and bring on customers with all you’ve learned
