NBAF UNVEILS NEW COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Nebraska Broadcasters Association Foundation has unveiled its new college scholarship program.

Dating back to 1977 when the NBA first began offering scholarships at one state university, the NBA has since awarded over $300,000 in scholarships to students at seven different Nebraska colleges and universities.

Under our new program, effective with the 2018-2019 school year, students will now apply directly through the NBA website.  Applicants meeting our criteria and eligibility requirements will have their submissions reviewed by the NBA Education Committee, who will in turn make recommendations to the NBA Executive Committee on which applicants should be awarded a scholarship and at what dollar amount.  The Executive Committee will make the final decisions.

The application deadline for the 2018-2019 school year is 4pm (Central) on Friday October 19, 2018.
